Using sand with candle has two primary functions.

1. Sand helps contain the wax drip that occurs from burning candles. It prevents the wax from damaging beautiful candle holders and allows the wax pool to solidify the sand, rather than on the holder. No more having to scrape or ultimately throwing away ornate candle holders. Once the sand/wax mixture dries, you effortlessly dispose of that tiny portion. See our video.
